The Bucolica, ten eclogues, published as part of the works of Virgil, 1757, concern the ambitions of the poet, politics, erotics and the care of cattle, much of this seen through a mythological screen. This photographic version is in the form of fifteen double spreads of c. 4850 x 3350 pixels in size.
